YOUTH MEDITATION

A nonprofit serving children, teens, families, and schools across Charlotte.

Support Our Cause

Youth Meditation is a 501(c)(3) organization created by Guru Ranjit Deora and Senior Instructor Angela Gala.

Our mission is simple and powerful: to teach children, teens, and educators the mindfulness tools that help them understand their emotions, reduce stress, improve focus, and navigate life with confidence.

We believe every child deserves access to peace, presence, and emotional wellbeing.

Our programs make that possible.

WHAT WE TEACH

Our programs introduce simple, effective practices that help students feel calmer, clearer, and more connected.

Students learn how to:

  • Breathe in a way that reduces stress
  • Recognize emotions and respond with awareness
  • Build confidence and self-esteem
  • Focus with more clarity
  • Communicate more effectively
  • Create better sleep habits
  • Handle challenges without shutting down or reacting
  • Find their inner calm when life feels overwhelming

These are skills for school.

These are skills for home.
These are skills for life.

HOW THEY FEEL

A NEW APPROACH

A BETTER FUTURE BEGINS WITH A CALMER CHILD

Children who understand themselves grow into adults who lead with clarity, purpose, and compassion. Youth Meditation gives them the tools to begin that journey.

Youth Meditation is built on three core principles:

Mindfulness must be simple and accessible.

We teach practices that any child or teen can use immediately.

Emotional awareness creates confidence.

When students understand what they feel, they make better choices. Calm is learned, not forced. Children learn to find stillness through gentle guidance and compassion.
